Water test- High Phosphate

Here are the results of my pond Water Test-

Ammonia 0ppm (perfect fish condition)

Salt .00 (should be .08 to .1 for fish health)

ph 8.0 ( 7.0-8.5 is siutable level for pond fish)

Nitrite .25 ( if it gets any higher should do a 15% water change)

Phosphate .5mgil ( if it gets higher could be fatal to fish)

They guy at our local pond store did this water test for me. He always tells me to add salt and I ignore him.

How do I fix the phosphate levels? I had done a partial water change only 4 days ago. I hardly feed my fish. I have water plants like Hornwort, Anakaris, Parrot Feather, Watercress and Water Hycinth. Its only 300 gallons and has bio and UV filter all in one.
