What's a good soil mixture for a 1,500 bog? (big pictures inc)

We literally "just" got done making our latest water creation. It is a bog with the special purpose of providing a superb over-wintering capability for our Green Frogs. The 1st picture shows the depths and the other pictures gives an idea of the dimensions.

The big question now is, "What do we fill it with?" We plan on adding 1 foot of soil to the entire area (except the frog beach) and we will have a small pump on little table to provide a little water movement. Most of what we removed was pure clay - some was compact clay, and some was loose clay. I'm hoping we can use some of that so we don't have to buy too much other stuff. As far as the "other stuff" I have no idea what to add. We plan on growing Lotus's, Water Lillies, and a few other bog plants.

Here are the pics!
