Last Night's sunset

Thought I would share this, it was very pretty and of short duration, lucky I looked out and saw it happen.
It's been pleasant, warmish in the afternoon, cold at night - real Indian Summer, it will not last too long. We are looking forward to more rain.

Beautiful. lilo.
I'm not able to see sunsets like that from our house, too many houses and mature trees.
BTW, my computer is acting up, the subject line may have been changed, I don't know how that happened.

Jim-1 I know about the big eye/little eye thing of the Painted butterflies undersides. I just can't remember what goes with which. Checking out the topsides of them to get an ID as they flit about is difficult at best. They rarely open up to reveal their full beauty for me like yours did.

Thanks Josh. All it takes is getting into the habit of looking up once a day... Actually, if one would just take the time to notice what's going on around them, expand one's bubble of perception, so to speak, then more people would capture moments like this. Oh, and don't forget to carry a camera....

Great colors. I can see them too. but they get spoiled by houses and power lines as well as trees.
