Name That Plant!

1. This plant is a vine. It's really quite a nice plant, but it (along with the periwinkle) is very invasive in my flower beds. It has heart-shaped leaves and very small, white flowers.

2. This plant also has very small white flowers. It is tall (about three feet tall) and has lance-shaped leaves.

3. The first time I noticed this plant I thought it might be an herb, maybe basil, but I'm not sure because I've never seen basil in person. I've never seen this plant before. It's about 1.5 to 2 feet tall.

The first looks like Climbing Buckwheat.
The last looks like potato.

The second one could be fleabane or horseweed.

That yellow flower - does it hang down? If, yes, not only is it a weed, but it has an incredibly long tap root. It's one of the few plants I use Round-up on, otherwise it's impossible to get rid of. As soon as I see it, I spray it. You can also head over to that other site (gave's darden since apparently it's blocked here.) They have an extremely active plant id forum. I often get an ID within an hour.

Hi. Thank you so much for your reply! kekoa - The infastation by this weed is not too bad at the moment and I just pulled them by gloved hand when I find them. I just wanted to ID it. I do not like anything thorny in my lawn as I've got 2 yo running around in our yard ;) johndp8888 - Thanks for the tip! I have only used Weed B Gone for other kind of weeds in the past. I'll definately give it a try for RU by your suggesting method! I figured out how to put images in the post. Please see the pics and help me ID those weeds. The problem with those 2 weeds in the 1st pic (red stem one and sleeping weed) is that they are thorny. It seems I can still catch up with them by hand-pulling/Weed Hound. But the biggest problem I have is the weed in the 2nd pic. I browsed online and it looks like what they call, *Beach Wiregrass/Corw Foot*. I am desparately seeking for the best way to get rid of them. They are so invasive and it's a matter of time until they take over my Bermuda if left too long. Any input/advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much :D

Ok, I've looked at pictures online of all of your suggestions.

1. The leaves of Climbing Buckwheat do look the same as my vine. The flowers do not, however, at least from the pictures I've seen online. The flowers I've seen online are open, but the flowers on my plants always stay very compact and "closed."

2. I do believe this is a potato. The question is how it got there.

3. This could be horseweed. The pictures I've found online do look similar, especially the flowers. I'm not sure about the foliage, though.
