Congratulations on your new plants, Ssmittee. The chocolate smelling plant is called Oncidium Sharry Baby. Give her a nice west window, and don't let her stay too dry for too long. I gave mine morning summer sun from sunrise to about 11am. Relating to your other question, which I believe is dealing with your hollywood, there is a Phalaenopsis Hollywood registered out there; I suspect this may be what you have. Phalaenopsis want only slightly different culture than oncidiums (slightly less light, slightly more moist), but it has worked just fine for me to grow them just like oncidiuums. Don't know how well that works down in florida. Your baby pink should read Dendrobium Baby Pink. Its a phalaenopsis type, which means, good new for you, it doesn't really need any sort of winter rest in order to bloom. His culture though is very different from the others. He likes to dry out and doesn't tolerate wet feet. He also wants a lot more light. Here in the DC area, I gave mine direct sun in the summer until 2pm and it bloomed twice a year. This translates to a south window up here in DC. You may be able to get away with a west window down there. The advice I gave you works for my conditions up here in the DC area. Florida sun is stronger than up here so take this with a grain of salt and one of our florida hobbiests should hopefully be along to give you some advice about growing down there.

That Phalaenopsis doesn't look all that happy, but if you fiddle with it now in winter you might bump it off. Perhaps if you can descibe your growing conditions, temperature, lighting, sunlight etc etc. the indoor/ under lights experts will be able to give good advice, As for the flower spike, I would cut it off at the base, others will tell you to cut it back to a node. At my old house I could leave them outside for all but about 4 months of the year. They can take a light frost. They spent their time in the shade of very tall oaks around the house. The yard had only one tiny spot of almost full sun and thats where the potted citrus and guavas lived as well as the normal in-the-ground veggies. At my new house (1 year as of today) I have very little shade and lots of wind (just like OK) so the tree ferns are sheltered along with the rest of the tropicals. I started off with 5 big ferns and lost all but 2 to the high heat and drought last summer along with some sort of mealy bug investation. waaaaaaaaaa A warning about using them near where you walk to sit - the species I have give off very itchy 'hairs'. You can't brush against them without noticing it. I can't believe that more folks don't grow potted citrus here. The warmth and humidity suit them well as patio plants and most of the time our winters are mild (frosty nights with 50 degree days). There are a few that grow in-the-ground types, but not as many as you'd think.

Besides what you list, clematis - Bees Jubilee, Niobe, Vyvyan Pennell, Willy (that one is new though), Rose Blanc Double de Coubert opened today, tomorrow should be Zephirine Drouhin, spirea japonica, a euphorbia, rock rose, azaleas, a sorry camellia, Lonicera sempervirens, centaura montana, foam flower, ravenswing - cow parsley, hawkweed - leapord plant, pyracantha, kerria, sedum, ajuga, woodruff, nectaroscordum, waterperry (veronica),a few annuals,a few viburnums - V. tribolum and V. sargentii Onondaga, Rainbow Leucothoe, hellebores, bleeding heart - dicentra spectabilis, iberis, broome, baptista, solomon's seal, those pink creeping strawberry plants, regular strawberry plants, cornus though not showy,a blue perennial salvia I started from seed is just opening, I'm not sure which one, not S. nemorosa though one of those is getting close too, maybe viola freckles is still blooming, one red astilbe is starting, the rest not yet. Other things have finished, others are getting ready to begin.
