post-bloom orchid, what now?

i bought an orchid (of indeterminate variety/after it bloomed) from the store on a clearance sale. it has not flowers, only a stalk of about 14 inches and some nice fleshy green leaves. it's in a 4" pot currently. my questions are as follow:

1. should i trim the stalk? how far back?

2. should i repot it and if so, do i need to use the spaghnum moss or can i use sterile coco fiber(i have this in abundance)?

3. what should be done to ensure more blooms and healthy growth?

thanks a lot all who have information!
