Do you recognize this plant?

1. The plant is low-growing, about 6â high at the moment although it was very late starting to grow this year and has been growing quickly in the past week so it may appear small when in fact the realistic size is greater.
2. It has not bloomed this year.
3. It is definitely a perennial that I purchased at a local garden shop for my garden in southern Alberta.
4. It is growing in a âÂÂpartial shadeâ area - it is on the west side of my house so it would get a bit of direct light as the sun moves over the house at noon but after a couple of hours is it completely shaded by a dense tree.
5. Its current location is not particularly moist or dry, the soil is fairly decent garden soil supplemented yearly with manure.
6. The leaf stems all appear to grow from a central spot rather than branching.
7. The leaf is about 3 cm or 1.25 inch square.

Thanks very much for your help!
