Name That Plant!

Could someone identify this plant please?

Hi everyone! I'm new to gardening and this forum! We've bought a house with a neglected garden and I'm trying hard to identify stuff before I pull it up! Could anyone tell me what this plant is please? Currently appears to be a single leaf on a stem but there are lots of them!!! Thank you in advance, Hils

Looks very much like foliage of woodland anemone (Anemone japonica hybrids or A. robustissima).
That one spreads somewhat and should develop flower stalks somewhen, pink or white

Thank you.. A few questions: Does it grow much bigger than this..30 inches wide and about 15 inches tall Can i put it in the south window where it would get 2-4 hours of sun or should I keep it in bright light with no sun In the spring - summer should I take it outside or leave it in the home Thank you very much for all the help`..
