Angraecum magdalenae

Is anyone here familiar with the growth habit of Angraecum magdalenae? I bought mine at the Southern Ontario Orchid Society show in february, not yet bloom size. I potted into semi-hydro and it has since grown a ton of new roots and put out two new leaves. Scratching my head though because it appears now that it's also pushing out a basal keiki (or branching below the surface of the LECA). I know that Angs can branch with maturity, but this plant is still quite young.
Is there a potential problem here or is it just a happy plant? It's getting plenty of light (almost direct sun in a south western exposure for most of the afternoon - 5000fc+ - with a bit less - 1000fc - during the morning), shows no blemishes or signs of disease that I can see, and I think I'm watering and feeding it properly.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tyler
