not many nurseries in my neighborhood, though there are some further out. i've never seen streps at any of them. but a vendor was selling them at the chicago flower and garden annual show and apparently a guy who bought one brought it into the biggest nursery in the city proper along with the vendor's name. so the nursery decided to order 200 of them! i know because the vendor is in the northern illinois gesneriad society, of which i am now a member. and i have direct access to him all the time, he knows me by first name (i feel like i know somebody famous or something). so the best way is to join a local gessie club! cool score, by the way. red typhoon is on my want list for next year. in fact, i think the above-mentioned vendor was selling him at the last meeting i went to, but i have so many new plants to take care of, i refrained (talk about self-control!)

If you still have Passiflora caerulea cuttings, I can trade for them with Passiflora x belotii, Passiflora coccinea, and/or what I think might be Passiflora edulis flavicarpa.

I think it has to be the sun, even though it's only in the early morning for a brief time. Unfortunately most of my adult population has declined. I've moved the COW out of the area, so they will get no sun at all, and hope it recovers. There are still a lot of babies, and I haven't fed it in a long time, other than cardboard to absorb moisture, as it is consistantly too wet. (Now I wonder if the moisture is due to the dying older worms!) It has also been very humid here, with massive storms last week pretty much shutting the town down due to trees and power lines down. We were without power for several days, and it was when I checked after the power came back that I realized how much my adult population has dwindled. I'm sad!!!
