I'm Fighting Mad & I'm Not Going to Take it Any More

Now they've done it!!!!!!

Kraft Foods decided to discontinue making Garlic Cheese!!!

Can you believe it!! Not make Garlic cheese. Do they have any idea what they've done, not only to me but my whole family, friends, shoot, even the whole SOUTH?

Garlic Cheese GRITS have been a traditional dish in my family forever.

Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthday dinners

all had at least one thing you could count on,

Garlic Cheese Grits.

It is our comfort food. It was my signature southern dish to feed all the yankee relatives when they dropped in for a visit, that and sweet tea, throw in a pan of biscuits and

they never wanted to leave.

There is nothing on God's green earth better for a southerner than to sit down at a table with a big ole baked ham, some greens, garlic cheese grits and a big cold glass of sweet tea.

I hesitated to call the big KRAFT in the sky company because

I just knew that my garlic cheese had fallen to the company ax but finally I had to do it. My whole family is in serious withdrawal from not having grits for a few months now. I kept telling them I couldn't find it in the store now. I finally asked and was told that they couldn't get it any more.

Katrina called Kraft and then called me with the bad news.

It's gone forever, mom, she said, barely able to speak.

I guess they didn't know at Kraft that those Cheese grits

helped get her through most of her life crisis.

I couldn't believe it so I called them myself. It's true,

they axed several of their products and Garlic cheese was one.

Lord luv a duck!!! I want to know if they are going to be

in this house thanksgiving day to explain to my poor hungry

children that there is NEVER going to be another dish of Garlic Cheese Grits!!!!

Shoot! that's like telling kids there is no Santy or the Easter Bunny, or that there's no more chocolate ice cream.

I personally think it's a case of discrimination against

southerners. First they take away our GARLIC CHEESE, then the next thing will be our SWEET ICE TEA, then they'll

be after the BIG CHICKEN again. Why the next thing you know they'll be down here ripping my picture of GENERAL ROBERT E. LEE right off the wall.

I can't take it! I just can't! I've never organized a

protest before, I'm a peaceful woman, but when they start

messing around with my grits, well, now, that is another matter entirely.
