The Asarum is on our property. I replanted it in my wild flower garden. We just moved here last fall, it is not that unusual here I assume since it is all through our woods, however it is unusual to me. This particular one was about to be choked out by ferns. For every plant I dig up, I leave at least two others. And my wild flower garden is in very rich soil, tucked under plenty of trees, shady and moist. Very natural place for them, especially since wildflowers volunteer to come up in there :) Thank you for your concern.

Wow, great pictures and flowers. I will try and get some time to help figure some of these out later on, but for now I will comment on a few that I have at least some idea on. I would try and figure out the Genus and search through the USDA plant database. Here are a few of my initial thoughts. Cactus gallery: I don't know White gallery: Neither are familiar to me. Orange gallery: 1. Reminds me of a mallow or hibiscus. 2. Not sure, I would start with penstemons. 3. No idea In the pink gallery: 1. No idea, but awesome flowers! 2. Owl's clover was my initial thought, a search of that genus found this, Castilleja exserta 3. No idea 4. Reminded me of hibiscus. I tried it on USDA site and found this, Hibiscus denudatus. 5. Onion? Allium species. 6. Same as 4? 7. No idea 8. No idea 9. No idea No idea No idea Purple gallery: 1. Onion? Alium species. 2. Not sure, but I would maybe start by finding the genus or family that a plant called fiddle neck is in. 3. No idea 4. Some kind of Iris!!! awesome. Yellow gallery: 1. No idea 2. No idea 3. Thank you, Omar for the very helpful lead! It appears that the first one is Corpus Christi fleabane (erigeron procumbens). I will see how it behaves before determining to keep it in my garden bed, lol. The second one is very probably, as you suggest, a helianthus. It is growing underneath another plant and appears to be in need of more sun. I will keep my eyes on this one as well. It's possible that they will both be keepers in my wildflower garden! When you pull one of these weeds, if the roots smells like carrot, it is Queen Anne's Lace. If the plant is hemlock, it will have a replusive musty smell sometimes described as smelling like a mouse. What does a mouse smell like? Normally, but I will not say always because there are some different species of QAL and they don't all look the same, the QAL has tiny hairs on the stems. The stems can be solid green or solid green with teeny tiny red pinstripes. The poisonous hemlock has some purple splotches on its stems. Some QAL, but not all, have a dark flower, variously described in different sources as red, maroon, black or purple, in the center of each flower cluster, but this can be iffy and inconsistent and is not necessarily a reliable indicator. The species of QAL that grows wild at our place never ever has had the oddly colored flower, only the creamy white ones. If you have the QAL, when the plants go to seed (don't let them!), the seed heads curl inward on themselves forming something that looks a little like a bird nest. Also, the poisonous hemlock usually needs wet ground to grow but QAL can grow in wet or dry ground. And, poisonous hemlock gets taller and more spread out, though the QAL flower heads will spread out a lot and have less tight flowerheads as the seeds mature, so the flower spread isn't always reliable.
