Well, since your question is URGENT, I'll give you a small bit of info which I hope will satisfy you until someone more knowledgeable answers. Definitely not a rose, of course. Something iris-y or related. There are many different types of iris. Or gladiolus, maybe? Blackberry lily? In any case, you have a flowering bulb -- probably a handsome one! -- but you'll probably have to wait until it flowers before learning exactly what it is. Can you describe the seed you planted? (Or show a picture of any seeds still unplanted.)

Karin great link I am pretty sure that it is, nice pic at the bottom of the page.. The 1st is planted in full sun on the south corner of the house it usually doesnt look this bad but it was a brutally hot summer with no rain and it has a bad sunburn. Funny thing is the ones in the shade didnt bloom and the ones in the sun bloomed like crazy. I can hear my water meter ticking all day!. Thank you both!
