This plant has done very well for me over several months. Recently, small necrotic blotches surrounded w/yellow appeared towards the tip of one leaf. I cut back to what seemed healthy tissue, allowing a little extra and did the cinnamon dust thing on the cut edges. Then within three or four days, this uniform browning began from the cut edge back. So, this morning I cut the leaf back more and sprayed the entire plant with Thiomyl - a systemic fungicide that has worked well in the past on other plants.

Noticed from the glare in the second picture (esp. top leaf on the left) that the plant seems a little dehydrated. Maybe this is the cause of the uniform browning back from a cut edge.

If any experienced, long-term paph growers have had this problem, I'd appreciate a tip.

P.S. It's potted in bark w/sphagnum top-dress.

Thanks!
