Yes, I harvested seeds from it last fall by pulling the seeds out of the fruit. I have stored them in the fridge for the last year not knowing what to do with them. I don't know if they would be viable any longer. I may just scatter them on the ground outside near the other plant and let nature take it's course. These new seeds will be treated according to the information I have found on Solomons Seal and Winter Sowing. I am also considering dividing the root. It says to do it on plants that are several years old. Mine is at least 4 years old. Thanks, Bruce

normal buds might sit for a month before growing. or more. since citrus grows in flushes you might need to wait for the next one before these buds will grow. depends on growing conditions, e.g. mine start another flush approx in 6-8 weeks. also i would pinch off the tips with like an inch of top stem on all branches - i actually pinch more, may be half the new growth, to shape the tree. but i am not concerned with fruit at this stage. but a couple of new leaves will do. this will encourage all side buds to grow, including the new ones. normally with good water/fertilizer there are water sprouts from the main trunk occurring anyway even without pinching. mine produces a fair amount of those since i prune for shape often. i don't remove them, i push them gently to desired angle when they are very young and bendable. and then hook them up with wire clips in position, then prune/branch. i have some dormant buds that developed on 1yr seedling avocado on main trunk very low (3-4 inches) - but they just sit there doing nothing for 4 months. you can also trim off that top growth that is bending sideways. i ordered keikigrow too. and sprayed all my trunks with kelp solution as for reg foliar feed AND watered it in too. seems kelp has a lot of grow factors too.

Carolb, that's the first thing I thought when I saw them, too (gloriosa lily tubers). Can't tell for certain from the photo if the leaf structure matches or not, but it don't seem like it does. If they were found along a fence line, it is possible that a prior owner planted gloriosa lilies, as they have tendrils and like to climb. Carol in Jacksonville

I feel more with what I said on the forum board it is a slipper either a multi floral paph or a phrag. And by the leaves, they look thinner than a multi floral paph so I will say it is a Phrag. If the leaves are thin more like an Oncidium type and get that slight dropping on the ends it is more than likely a Phrag if they have a little more stiffness to them than it is the Paph. Multi floral Paphs have a slightly different growing condition than your maudai, bulldog/complex types they can take cooler weather and will bloom better with more light than the single/sequential blooming types. If a Phrag than the growing conditions vary even more. They like well draining mix but like to keep their roots moist, best grown in moss.
