I would not use that for anything since it will probably also kill your plants. Borax is often suggested as one means of control for creeping charlie. The link below says there is seldom a need for chemical control of these wee buggers.
One of the things organic gardeners are supposed to do isbe confrotable with nature. That does not mean allowing plants to be devoured but does mean understanding the insects around us and not taking unnecessary action to contol those that do not need control.

You need to understand that a Plus or minus a 1 % solution is the difference between life and death of your plants.

Just plain dishsoap, baby shampoo or horse shampoo will probably do the job

i'd be very careful about using borax as it contains boron. boran is a micro nutrient and a tiny bit can cause serious problems for plants. most soil contains enough that is not required. off the top of my head, i thnk you use 2 pounds per acre so you can see it's a very low level admendment and then only when a soil test indicates it's required.
