New Bermuda sod, temps around 102F

I just put in some Bermuda sod this weekend - worst possible timing I know but we've been waiting too long and the weeds were starting to return (before was only dirt + weeds, tilled + soil solarization got rid of them for the most part, 2 big rains the weeds came back).

Anyway...I put down some fresh soil and soil starter and laid the sod. I covered the 'edges' with mulch. But it's HOT. It's supposed to be above 100F for the next few days. I know I need to water daily for about 3 weeks, but is that sufficient for freshly laid sod given the heat? I don't want to overwater of course, but I don't want it drying out before it can really get its roots in.
