Hi there,

I am new to gardening and am trying to go the natural route. I planted Dahlias before reading that they attract snails. Thinking ahead, I would like to deter snails naturally, but have to be careful not to harm the banana slugs that live all over my garden and who come in peace.

Any thoughts on how to drive away the unwanted slug-type creatures while still allowing the banana slugs to remain in their home?
