It only lasts 24 hours, so you must use it up.

Aerobic tea brews last up to 24 hours, in order to maximize the number of beneficial aerobic bacteria and fungi living in the liquid. After 24-48 hours, unless constant aeration is re-applied, most of the good aerobic microbes have lost their maximum powers, and have either died off or gone dormant.

Non-aerobic tea brews don't matter much about long brewing times, because most of the aerobic microbes in the tea are either dead or asleep in the tea. Non-aerobic teas are brewed mostly for their nutrients, not good aerobic microbial activity.

The good aerobic microbes that exist in your topsoil, grow from the foods in a diluted non-aerobic tea application, only after it is applied to the plant's foliage or topsoil, in a foliar or soil application, and only after it is exposed to the air for awhile.

Not so in a true aerobic tea brew. The good aerobic microbes are already living in the tea brew, then they keep living a little more, and breed again after they are applied to the soil or to plant foliage, at application time.

Aerobic tea brews tend to greatly increase the good aerobic microbial poipulations on plants and soils, much faster than non-aerobic tea brews, used as biostimulants.

Because non-aerobic tea brews can contain the wrong forms of microbes and nutrients, it is best to use they sparingly, very diluted, and only as a soil drench.

Aerobic tea brews can be used as frequently as irrigation schedules in your garden plants, and can be diluted and used safely as both a foliar/soil drench.

Both aerobic and non-aerobic tea brews can have their place in a well managed sustainable gardening system. Just keep in mind what each tea brewing type each does, and how in fits in your own personal gardening style.

Great info about Aerated Compost Tea. Thanks! We've been using it this year with hard to measure success. I'd like to ask a couple (or 3) questions to make sure I'm doing it right. This hopefully will be helpful to lorcalon and others liek me who are learning.
1. If I can't use it right away (because of weather or other work), can I keep it "alive" for a few days by stirring in more molasses for food and keeping the bubbler going?
2. When is the best time to apply it? After a rain, morning, evening?
3. Does it do any good to apply it if we've NOT removed the diseased leaves? We have 300 tomato plants, and many other veggies and with harvesting and market activities, there is not enough time to remove all the diseased leaves.
