Dgs, unless you find the exact type of jasmine, I'd be hesitant setting in a garage, especially if it dips in the 30's..brrr. Also, jasmine needs yr round light. You bought this Jasmine during summer, and it had foliage, even though they didn't grow..Then fall comes, you bring indoors, and voila, it's Jack and the Beanstalk. So we've narrowed it down to an evergreen, viney jasmine. Perhaps you should do a search on a jasmine site, or like Chaz stated, Google, to get an exact match. Are you a regular at Farmer's Market? Is there someone who works/owns the place who may recall the type of Jasmine sold during the summer of 07? I'm unfamilar w/Farmer's Market's, but if it's a small, family owned business they may be able to help. Have you ever fertilized your Jasmine? If so, what type of fertilizer did you use? Hi forever a newbie, Thanks for posting the link, it's just I have never seen it before and was curious what it was. Did you ever get one to grow? I probably won't be planting it. I am one of those people that's very impatient. I prefer to buy plants that are of good size, so I don't have to wait too long for it to flower. Murraya, is closer to citrus..the blooms are incredibly fragrant..but they do best in bright light and a summer outside.. You can get a MOO at www.accentsforhomeandgarden.com for 4.95..Plant is about 8" tall w/buds/flowers..I bought my first MOO from them a few yrs back and recently bought a second to fill up the pot..For that price, you can't go wrong..I wouldn't spend 20.00 only to find the plant won't do well in a north window.. Dunsmoir, do u know what type of jasmine you have? Some are harder to get to flower than others. I've had a Stephonitis for yrs..foliage is doing great but no flowers.. Are you fertilizing your jasmine? Perhaps you should alternate using a blooming food one month, then all purpose the second..They also sell jasmine fertilizer at Plumeriapeople.com and stokestropicals.com Be sure it's not a Murraya, also called Orange Jasmine/Lakeview which isn't a jasmine at all..Murraya does best using citrus or azalea food..Don't give up...If you can post a pic that might help..Toni

I don't know what to say.. but this is crazy. The smell is incredible. It doesn't hit you right away in my opinion as the Arabian or Maid of orleans does.. but when it does it is amazing. I have had well over 50+ blooms. I really need to start making some cuttings with these guys. Any idea on the best of doing this? Air rooting? Cutting in water? Rooting powder?
