Based on what you've posted, the first one does look like winged sumac. Second looks like it could be Mulberry weed. It would have tiny flowers in the leaf axils along the stem. Third one looks like black cherry. Fourth one is non-native aggressive shrub called Elaeagnus. Fifth one looks like a hollyhock seedling.

in general water the pot thoroughly before you start ... measure pot .... dig hole at least 1.5 times as wide .... and the exact depth .... if highly compact or hard soil... twice as wide is better ... test with tree in pot to get it right ... take tree back out... get it out of pot.... unwind or cut any winding roots .... then get it in the hole .... place so it is at the same height... refill half way ... making sure it will stand on its own ........ if water drains... fill the hole 2 or 3 times... and let it drain away .... we are trying to insure the whole rootball gets moist.. and also the surrounding soil ... if you have a clay type soil that does not drain.. please advise.. as it changes everything .... once you are sure of that... complete the refill.. except for a wide shallow moat .... and water it 2 or 3 more times... then mulch it properly ... you are responsible for all water for the next two years.. insert finger past the second knuckle.. and water whenever it is dry or hot ... i will leave it to others, as to whether there are any special rules for this particular plant ... good luck ken

Yes, this vine wants to grow up so if you want it to grow horizontally you will have to tie it in, also it grows towards the sun, keep this in mind. When I planted mine on an arch when it reached the top it kept growing back on itself so I had to plant another on the other side of the arch. I let them duke it out when they reached the top. This is a vine that layers easily as you will find out if any part of it grows along the ground. Another thing worth mentioning, you can find if you look hard enough, Akebias with either purple, rose or white flowers and there are also two variegated forms, one gold, one silver and of course the flowers are scented. I considered Five Star while researching my cooking choice for my kitchen remodel. I was set to buy one based upon reading their literature. I called the Five Star company and discussed my questions with one of their people. They referred me to a cooking school in my local area that had Five Star ranges where I was able to see, test drive and discuss the performance with the cooking school staff. The ranges are owned by Five Star and provided to the cooking school for display, "test driving", etc. since they do not have a distributor in the area. The report from the staff was not great. They said the ranges (they have two) all too frequently required burner and oven repairs on both of their ranges. The day I was there, both ranges were waiting for repairs--one oven wasn't heating sufficiently and a total of three burners on the two ranges were not operating. Most of the time they have to use long reach butane lighters get the burners going. Service is difficult to get even though they are in one of five largest cities in the country. Their opinion was the Five Star is impressively marketed but cheaply built and problematic. They said the burner performance stats are impressive in the literature but performance is weak in practice. They said if they were buying for their homes they would spend a little more and get a better built range. And that's just what I did thanks to their advice. Hope this is helpful to you.
