What's the deal with email notification?

Whenever I start a thread, I always check that little box saying I want email notification when someone posts a reply to my thread. For some reason, I don't get them anymore. I think this started a couple of weeks ago. Anyone else having this problem?

I do hope folks are being more careful on what email attachments they open up. Snow has stayed away and we were in the 60's for the last couple of days. The rain came back along with thunder and lightning and its back to the 30's today. :-(. Julia

So perhaps this email is stuck in your Outbox? If so you could click on Outbox and double click on the offending email and delete it. Seems like it has a non recognised address on it.

if your settings are correct, then it's probably something with your browser, junk, or security settings (shrugs)

If this happened to me, I would do the following. I would PRINT SCREEN, PASTE the image into my graphics program, and crop the image so it contained only the popup. Then I would post the image along with the question so that others might have a clue as to what it is going on. But...that's just me.

Yes Calvin. All my junk/spam goes to a folder and stays there until I ditch it. Last week, I did receive a couple of email notifications about a day after they were posted to my thread, but then they stopped coming.

There was a period a while ago where they stopped coming altogether. Sometimes they still take a little while to go through, but lately they seem OK for me.

Well, they all came through this morning going back to 3/12. Maybe the problem is fixed.

I am new to the forum and also don't receive them. I have already checked my trash/spam...hmmmm.

They should really get with the program and get newer software for this site. It's unlike any other forum as far as features go.
