Problems with site?

I have recurring problems with trying to click out of a thread at times---nothing happens.

Other times a box will pop up stating I can close or if I'm making a purchase I can hit 'Retry'. I hit it tonight and a message I posted on The Roof thread was duplicated from earlier this afternoon.....

Are the gremlins here or partying in my computer?

Doe anyone else have these problems?

Slow for me so I closed my browser and restarted the puter to clear stuff, still slow to reload the page. They have been messing with stuff for a couple of months now for example Dorf's Nov. 7 quote post is still stuck.

Another clue is that the list of old threads at the bottom is out of order since their server crash and they lost some of the posts from the middle of what used to be the list in order. If you understand that sentence then we are on the same silly page.

Plants for problem site: mostly shade except hot noontime sun

I have numerous salvias in part shade and they are in full bloom right now; salvia gregii, salvia microphylla. I think they would be fine in both areas. Another I have in same conditions is polygala dalmaisiana sweet pea bush and will bloom most of the year and frost doesn't seem to bother it. You might try cistus orchid rock rose on the slope. In your heat and mine some full sun plants will appreciate some shade so don't let that deter your choices. CA native salvia clevelandii would also be good and has a nice scent and great for erosion control on the slope. Although it will sort of die off in late summer so may not be as nice next to your door. You should also take a look at lavatera tree mallow maritime and bush morning glory convolvulus cneorum both appreciate some shade. Frost hasn't bothered any I have listed.

Sounds like you have an excess of tracking cookies and the operation times out. Do a spyware scan and get rid of some of it. Linda C

Alternative paints for problem sites

I am using F&B for the woodwork in my 105 yr. old house and just LOVE it. I am using Lime White, which is a very soft white (not stark white, which I seem to have now). It goes on beautifully and does not show brush marks. I have also used it for my exterior doors this past summer and it was so much better than the BM paint I had used before it. Covered Red (Picture Gallery Red) in two coats and it looks great. With the BM exterior paint, I used a grey primer and 2-3 coats of red and it looked terrible (on wood doors). I think you would be very pleased with the F&B for your woodwork. jody

our posts and using it for their advertising purposes.
