Narrow lance like toothed leaves - Mt. Baldy, CA

I have spotted this plant a few times in various parks of California. This photo comes from Mt.Baldy. Sorry don't have more detailed photos yet. Any ideas?

When I saw this post originally, I saw a different plant. This plant is not a yucca glauca but however I’ll find this plant as well.

It's definitely a Composite, possibly allied to Nothocalais.

Microseris nutans is in the same section as Nothocalais.
