Zone Start / Flywheel Brake Pad (Brake Puck) Replacement

I removed and replaced the flywhell on a Tec LEV195 (6.5HP vertical shaft for walk behind). When I put the flywheel back on, I felt resistance then heard a pop and all was seated - so I thought. Later I notice a black rectangle with epoxy on one side - it turned out to be the brake pad to the flywheel because I had for gotten to compress the zone start when I put the flywheel back on. Can this be glued back on or do I have to replace the whole bracket? Does anyone have experience with this? I noticed that my Oregon catalog sells a brake puck but no mention of glue or application. Thanks
