Help plant find his identity!

Hi everyone!

Please help in identifying my newly acquired house plant. It has dark, waxy green leaves. As you can see in the photo the leaf points are curved. I've been searching the internet with no luck, so any help is appreciated.

Look at pictures of philodendrons, then when you have a name or names read descriptions to confirm.

You might try this one on the Aroid forum. A pic of the back of a leaf, and cataphylls, if any, would also help ID.

Thanks! Are they always going to be orange flowers? Google has multicolored ones pictures, but are mine just orange? Not sure if the picture is big or clear enough, but worth a shot, any ideas on these other three around it?

I second the Liatris spicata. Liatris scariosa is a significantly harder to find plant, and L. spicata has a much more compact raceme (flowering head). The one in the photo is way too compact to be anything but L. spicata. Also L. scariosa tends to be a much paler purple than L. spicata. The yellow flower looks like some sort of daylily, but there are thousands of sorts out there, so it'd be difficult to guess the cultivar name. BP

Perhaps Philodendron 'Xanadu', in juvenile form. See site linked below & scroll down to pic of juvenile leaf form.
