Name That Plant!

Please help identify houseplant

Hello!

I am trying to identify a houseplant that my spouses grandmother is giving me some of. They call them a 'Lenten Lily', but it is not a daffodil. She said that it blooms around lent with a very small, white, orchid-like flower. From that flower comes a small new plant or offset. I have attached a picture. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Thanks! I think it is indeed Pachira aquatica which apparently loves moisture so they can't have been overwatered? They're not in styrofoam cups but 10 inch tall white pots but with no drainage which I suspect is the problem. I will repot as suggested. Thanks again for your help.

I have two that are now 9' tall. I just kept moving them to larger pots as they grew. I never kept them in direct sunlight or windy locations. I used Miracle Grow to keep them dark green and I watered once a week. And I think the new growth is the most adorable little sprout I've ever seen.
