LB 10684C stops running after 4-5 minutes

Hey all,

Just found the site today, and I hope someone can point me int he right direction.

Two weeks ago, my LB has started to give me problems. After about 5 minutes of running, the mower will just 'die'. No sputtering, no coughing, no 'weird' noises, just dies as if I let go of the bar on the handle.

I've replaced the air filter, spark plug and even put in new oil/gas. No change.

After the mower is 'dead', if I let it cool for ~1hr, it'll start up first crank, but will run 5 minutes, only to die again.

I clamped the bar while the mower was running and sat it on my sidewalk to see if it was something I was doing, and the same happened.

From reading the posts on here, I'm guessing it's something with either the carb, or the safety feature that shutting off the mower.

I"m not the most mechanically inclined person, but I have downloaded the parts list, so I should be able to locate things from that.

Any thoughts as to what I should check/change, etc?
