My DH calls my stuff "Creations by the Tree" Because my name is Treena and he has always called me Tree. And its generic enough because I have created many varities of "stuff." I have often thought of a very specific picture that I would like to draw and put with that name for something official, but I've never done it. You may have inspired me to move in that direction. Some names I have tossed around with others, though no one has used them. Garden Delights, Garden Varieties, Cutting Charisma, Charisma Designs (Charisma was her name), Crafting Sensations, Golden Goddesses Gifts of Delight.

LOL, this is really bringing back some memories. Ah, maybe we may have had a few too many now that I think of it, when we had this conversation. Well, I guess we know why no one has ever used them. I had better stop before I tell you the really, really bad ones! LMAO.

A good friend pots plants and flowers for people. Her business name is Mrs. Pots! The closest I come is the calling cards my niece made up for me; she gave me the title Laundress Extraordinaire. She says that no one can get stains out like Aunt Nancy...and she and her sister bring me laundry from Maryland whenever they visit. Blush

My jewelry display cards and business cards have Angelic Accents on them. If I ever start a plant business, and I want to, I would name it Grandma's Garden. That would be to honor my grandmother, I loved her flower garden, just a simple cottage garden, but it was always known as Grandma's garden.

We called them Born in a Barn. Crafts and hoped to someday add antiques to the end of that. But I got tired.

Now I just do them when I want and for gifts.

Our business name is 'Articles and Objects'.
I have a large wooden sign that a friend made for
us when we had the store in Cordova Mall. It's 14-16 inches wide and about 6 feet long.

My wood items were dog oriented, leashracks and welcome signs. So I just used my kennelname of Hounds of Sangaree for them. When I started making bead jewelry, and because I love the moon, I made up business cards with a crescent moon and pearls hanging from it. Called my jewelry creations "MoonDrops by Karen".
But been sometime since I made and sold any of this stuff, and I won't be selling any of my GJ creations as just make them for own pleasure.

By the way, "Creations by the Tree" is a cool name, Treena.
There should be lot of fun suggestions for GJ names!!

My brother's cat is named Whisper. I fell in love with the name. Also the cat...who I inherited along with One Eyed Pete and Strawberry when my brother died almost 7 yrs. ago.

I don't sell anything, but I do have both front and back yards in tree's, shubs, ornamental grasses, and flowers. I have a sign on my back gate that says "Rose's Garden", mainly because my name is Rose. That's what my family has always called it. Its a green sign with
"Rose's Garden" in light green, and pink roses at the side.
Very neat and fun ! I think everyone needs a name for their garden.

Years ago my Sister and I had a half-baked pot-pourri business we called "Mary Elizabeth Herbals". Mary Elizabeth was our Great Grandmother who used to raise Herbs and sell them to the local Docs and Mid-wives. We were both so busy raising our youngsters, we really didn't devote ourselves to the business and it fell by the wayside. At another time I had a website from which I sold OOAK Art Dolls that I called "Picklesister Dolls and Trinkets". With Nichols as a maiden name, "Pickle" was a long standing nickname for my siblings and I.

I sell my sculpture under the name "little-dog-laughed".

I don't officially have a business name but when I retire, I would love to sell garden art under the name of Luna Llena Feliz Designs. If you don't speak Spanish (like me - lol), you can Babelfish it to find out it means Happy Full Moon. I imagine my trademark would be a smiling full moon (the face not the other end!) with deep dipples.

I agree with mjowest that "Too Much Glass" could be a great name. I'd probably be one of your first customers since I'm up the road from you.

I was doing Easter crafts and USA crafts and selling them a few years back when I was in the right place to sell them and had the time to make a ton. My "Business" name was LaMa Arts. (La for Louisiana where DH is originally from and Ma for Massachusetts where I am originally from). So all my little crafts are under LaMa Arts. When I eventually get a little greenhose thing going, DH says I should name it Propagation Station. Cute, but we are mulling other names over. It will jump at me when and if the business gets going for real.

Luna, I think the old fashioned, smiling, dimpled full moon logo sounds charming.

As for l-d-l, well, they *are* very little dogs.

My friend and I craft together. We do a lot of different things from garden junk, painting murals on school walls, to sewing and embroidery. We met at our children's school and seem to have our hands in way to many pies. We even do a recycling display on Arts Day. We call our endeavors Two Many Piez. She has been to sick lately to do anything. She has a heart condition. Even on her bad days she considers creating a wonderful therapy.

Peg, the Two Many Piez is a cute one. Being handicapped/physically challenge/disabled (whatever the heck it is called), I agree that exercising one's creativity can be very therapeutic. I hope your friend does better and gets back to all those "Piez!"

Back when I was selling crafts, my business name was "Blue Barn Crafts" When my husband and I got married (20 years ago) we lived on the second floor (loft area) of a barn on his parents property. Yep, we painted the barn that country blue that was so popular back then.

I love all the names ,too ! How creative ! I never thought that TooMuchGlass would make a good business name - but the more I think about it - the better it sounds !!

bamasusanna, when we bought this place, the little shed/barn building probably used to be slate 'back in the day', but it's faded to a light sky blue. Funny thing is that people used to live in this one too, or at least, at one time it was used as a guest house.

I have a thrift shop and it's called 'Donna's Treasures 'n Stuff'. I tell people it's more stuff than treasures. I have a closet FULL of glassware for totems when I get a chance to get to it.

"Ewe"nique Boutique of Crafts is the name I have always used with a little lamb graphic on my cards.

My business name is "Fowl Places". I use all my found "junk" to make homes for our cavity nesting feathered friends. You'll find me online quickly by doing a search for my business name or for "unique birdhouses". I'd best not include the link here myself due to GardenWeb's advertising rules and regs. The only thing new I use are screws. All other materials I find myself or at flea markets, eBay, 2nd hand/antique stores. Most of my wood comes from barns I've torn down or from old fences. All wood colors are the way I find it - I do not use paints or stains. The coolest metal I use comes from an old aqueduct system in the Tonasket, WA area - a Fe/Cu alloy that weathers in the neatest patterns/colors. For cleaning I use a hose and a horse brush!

My antique shop is called Home Again Antiques. I almost named it Jiggety Jog (you know from the nursery ryhme, To market, to market to buy a fat hog/ Home again, home again, jiggety jog)

I love all of the names! We live on Bear Creek in an area called Bear Creek Crossing, and, as you might know, I love bears. So, I always thought Bear Creek Friends would be our name. I make photo cards and always include that name on the back. Bear Hugs! Kirk

Now- I am just trying to clean up all the mess created by my "Wandering Impressions" - OMG. AND the junk??? Well, I am sure you would have wept - but TWO 40 yard dumpsters in TWO years took care of a lot of it....except the concrete - it isn't allowed.

Started helping my mom with her home nursery and I am going to help her by selling some of her plants at my home on a stand named "The Sedum Shack" !

Back in the mid '70's, my husband and I both did drafting for a living. We started "Illustrated Lines" in order to do moonlighting work for various oil companies. Flash forward about 30 years - I got into stained glass and wanted to start my own business (which needed a name). We decided to keep "Illustrated Lines" because it fits us.
