Gravley ZT 1840 XL or Ariens Zoom 2350

I realize they're made by the same company. The question I'm trying to decide upon is whether it's worth the money to buy the Gravley even though it's a bit more expensive and has a smaller deck and engine over the Ariens.

Gravley ZT 1840 XL

18 HP Koler Courage

40" fabricated deck

$3399

Ariens Zoom 2350

23 HP Koler Courage

50" stamped deck

$3199

My yard is about 3/4 an acre, mostly flat except for about 1/4 of it on a long sloping hill. Will I be happier with the better built Gravely or should I get more mower for the money with the Ariens?

I suppose I should also throw in the Gravley mini ZT 1534 that's $2399 with the B&S 15 HP engine and 34" deck.

I'm not inclined to get it as I've not heard good things about the B&S engine.

So which did you decide? I'm trying to decide between the Zoom 2350 and a Toro Z5000. If you get the Zoom 2350 . . . what do you think of it so far?

I will sell you my new zoom 2350. Purchased the zoom and then moved to 3.5 acre lot. Need a front loader. Less than 100 hours of operation. Will deliver within reason.
