Walmart mower (Honda engine), 1st report

The replacement engines for my 20yr old Sears lawnmower were ~$200, so I said forget it.

I ended buying the Walmart mower ($208, Honda engine).

I noticed there was an oil-stain at the bottom of the box. The oil-level was low, so I added oil. Assembly was straightforward. it powered right up. I mowed about 20 yds, then brought it back. I came back, & noticed there was an oil-stain on the driveway! I tilted up the mower, & there was oil leaking from the crankshaft. I mowed by lawn, & came back. Sure enough, oil was leaking again. I came back several hrs, & it looks like the oil leak quit. I get the feeling, the oil leak was only after I shut down the mower.

What is going on? It looks like I should return the mower for a replacement.

The rear soft-bag is TERRIBLE. I couldn't shake out the grass, I had to reach in with my hands & dislodge the grass. Does everyone have this problem with these newer soft bags? I like my 20 yr old hard "rear catcher" way better.
