I asked this question in the post about Scotts's lawn service but it was suggested I start a new thread.

Last year there was a debate on here about compost vs. compost tea vs. neither if the lawn was fed correctly. While it is certainly easier to spread compost tea rather than compost, are the results as good? What about the opinion that if your soil is "fed " correctly there is no need for compost at all?
