I love that! I saw something similar a while back in one of my gardening magazines and wanted to make one. But I like yours better. I'm glad you lost your nerve to smash those beautiful plates. Save the smashing for the chipped and broken ones.

Didn't Cindee do garden plates on this Forum? Anyway it was someone elses idea. I saved the pic and waited and these plates came from Luna!

I haven't gotten anything past the planning stages yet (oh, but what big plans I have my dear!) except for the gargoyles that Jules sent. She hit it on the bulls eye with these 3!! More later as things evolve with the other cool Gardyloo stuff I received. I will say this much, hubby needs to move 2 plants in my garden to make room for my new plans ..... ~tenderlee

Hey Susie, these plates would have made a lovely mosaic, but the way you used them is perfect. So pretty. You did them justice. Added to your patio was the right choice.

They turned out beautiful and I will have to copy that as well. Thanks for sharing your idea and picture, I am visual.

I went to the 99 cent store and found some plate hangers and I also used zip-ties to anchor them from the wind.

The lettering was indoor/outdoor vinyl from Hobby Lobby. The shutter came from the Garage.

The project was so gratifying because I have wanted them ever since I found that picture above. How did Luna know that???? (only Hubs and God knew)

I love where your gargoyles are! They are perfect protectors! Now, just make sure they don;t get knocked down on top of your car! And I'm telling you--I went out looking and poof---there they were. I asked God to help me find them too--he ALWAYS comes through! Someones junk sure made your TREASURE! :-)
