Pics of your smallest houseplant(s)
Comments (94)These are some of mine! A micro mini trailing African violet (the others around it are all mini African violets) Some miniature gardens I put together with plants that like being indoors (ignore the dead Serissa in the back of the oval one - I've been hoping it'll come back, but my hope is fading...). Pen for scale....See MoreAllison0704, Can you post more pics of your beautiful home?
Comments (21)Oh shoot, TXgal! I forgot - I'm writing it down so when it gets lighter outside I can look. So sorry! :-/ Thank you, Amy. Jennifer, that was the only semi-arguement we had during construction. DH wanted them, I didn't. We actually had the cans in (4 in each the GR and MBR) but even the electrician agreed they would not only ruin the look of the room, but with the roof pitch, the light would not be thrown directly to the floor (even using cans meant for sloped ceilings - the pitch was different). He removed them before the drywall was started. In both the GR and MBR we have four metal sconces that throw light up/down. We use them and two lamps in the GR at night when it's just us. If we have company and want a brighter room, there are two more lamps and the great room receives light from the DR/Foyer/Kitchen. You can see one of the sconces lit in picture #7 and two unlit in #16. I just noticed your moniker. I'm sorry you hate building - we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I was just recently trying (just a tad) to talk DH into building again! We've been the only house on our street for two years and two new houses have just started construction. We do have 4.5acres so it's not like our old neighborhood but we were used to the seclusion....See MoreNeverdunn...Can you post pics of your kitchen?
Comments (22)Neverdunn, what tile did you use for the kitchen? What sizes are the tiles and what is the grout color you used? I like that tile for my kitchen from these pics but in person in my kitchen with different lighting, they may not look the same. I also am considering a few others when I am ready to do my kitchen after my busy season. When you have time, I would love to know what you used. I LOVE your kitchen, especially the floors, backsplash and kitchen cabinets....See MoreYou can Post your Pics from Photobucket this way
Comments (5)Hi Sandie and Thank you for a look into your Album, it was a beautiful experience, your photo's and scans are perfect, my and you are very clever with the dough, and did you make that jewellery so many secret talents. Now having seen more of your roses I fell in love with that Buff coloured one I will have to go back and get the name it will have to go on my wish list, mind you the weather here is not very kind to the roses as it has been in the high 30's for a while now, 37 today, but I seen in the news it will be like that down there so your roses will be suffering too................... I have too agree with you about this website and I know that there are lots of people out there that dont get on any more .... I have only been coming here just under 2 years but in that time I have made a few personal friends and lots of on line ones and it will be a shame to loose them but like you I feel they have decided ages ago what they wish to do when they bought it, but you never know things may come back to what they used to be so here's hoping.......And a Happy New Year to you........Cheers..MM....See Morepetrushka (7b)
