That's a beautiful planter chair Lara, you did a wonderful job on the One-Stroke flowers. I like how you painted the planter with the same flowers also. Excellent! By the way, your BB still looks great, that light green color is awesome.

Lara, that is so lovely. Especially painting the flower pot and the birdhouse to match. How neat you do it different every so often and give it a new look. Then again, this is so pretty I'd hate to see it change. LOL

Love the little chair planter. I picked one up from the curb yesterday. It's in perfect condition. When I brought it home DH asked me which one of the greatgrandkids it was for. I told him neither. LOL Unfortunately I can't paint as well as you do. I'll have to find some decals for mine.

Granny, instead of decals, get the "rub on" paints. Look like decals but are actual paint once applied and much nicer I think. Michaels has many designs to choose from too. I love using those since I can't paint anything but a wall.

Thanks for the tip Karen. I'm going to Michaels this week and will look for some rub on paints. I painted another chair a bright pink last week and it needs something to add to it. I'd love to paint a vine on it but I'm like you, walls is the only thing I can paint.

Thanks you guys, I needed that little boost to get me going this morning! Nanatink, when I read your reply, I had just taken a swig of diet coke, and I busted out lauging at your remark. SERIOUSLY, THAT WAS AN LOL!!

Oh, by the way, I didn't paint the planter itself. It's a cooking pot that just happened to match the flowers on the chair! I used to have a little copper colored watering can that sat on the other post across the birdhouse. I cut up little strips of clear plastic from a pop bottle and glued them to the spout so it looked like water was coming out it, so cool. Hmm i wonder what ever happened to it, it's nowhere to be found.

So cute! And I LOVE that gazing ball!
