My June POTM

This is my first POTM. I finally finished the glass totems with my garage sale finds. My mom claimed 2 of them for her rose bed and my sister Bunny is getting the one with the bunny on top for her birthday. I also made a couple of windchimes from an enamel lid I had decorated years ago and used in my kitchen for a towel holder and an old grater I found at a flea market with silverware that my mom had.

A Rustic Fence in Winter

Thanks for the kind words! We are in "The Snow Belt"...get LOTS OF SNOW and love it! Our property is right next to a hiking /cross-country ski trail. Often ski over to it. Nanatink, I usually put many of my carved bears in for the winter to hibernate (hee hee) along with more of the other stuff (like the chairs and bench)....ran out of time this last year with my DW being pregnant and all. We were both too pooped! LOL This spring, I gave everything an extra coat of verathane (sp) and the bench got an extra coat of paint. Dena, I ordered the oil! Excited to get it!!!! Thanks for the advice! Oh, I'm in the process of building another rustic arbor for a different part of our yard. Maybe that will be my June POTM, something that is half finished!!! Kirk

I think you could pick just about anything this time of year & you'd get lots of POTM submitted. Maybe you could write each one down on a piece of paper, fold them all up & put them in a can, stir them around & have someone draw one. Tipsy pots, birdfeeders, chandeliers, totems, bed benches, new planter made of old stuff, if you can think of it, put it in the can.

You sure had a stash of neat glass things for totems, especially the toppers!!!! I'd love to find a rabbit like that, or the butterfly.

I totally love them all!!!! You are a natural with the totems. The one with the bunny is shaped like a lady. I love the butterfly alot.

Those are ALL amazing!! Great job ! I love your yard too! How lush. I am coveting that pie server in the pot lid chime!! ..and your deck and your yard and everything in it !! LOL

Thanks everyone. My brothers, sisters and their families are coming here next week for their vacation and I can't wait to show them everything I've made and all the pictures I've saved with everyone's crafty ideas.
Kirk, I used fishing line. I just happened to have some and it is strong enough. What was nice about the silverware, it already had holes in the handles so I didn't have to do any drilling except on the lid. I love the sound they make too.
