Comments (7)Bill - Took it to lunch today (tostada Wednesday at the local Mexican place), the owner is a bit of a chilehead too. Only three of us were brave/stupid enough to try a small piece. The flavor was nice, my initial impression is has a more pleasant flavor than a Bhut. Shortly after the flavor was the heat. It started slow but built fast and lingered for a good ten minutes or more. Should make for some good eats. :) On a side note, I think I've pulled off a minor miracle thanks to the god awful hot weather. I had two 7 Pot Douglahs I started from your seed back in January that I killed in May. I figured what the heck, dropped another seed in a a pot and started it directly outside. Yesterday I noticed it has a pod growing on it. Three months from seed to pod, not too bad for a super hot. Now I play the waiting game hoping it will grow and ripen before frost hits....See Morecousinfloyd
