Like your cobalt blue totem, this is very simple yet very lovely! What did you use for the two pieces? I think it looks great staked in the planter.

Whoops! I was wrong. I used 4 pieces...an upside down milk glass bowl, a mottled white ball with a marble on top and a clear bud vase to set the pipe in.

Cute! Haven't tried white yet. I'm in Puyallup, where are you?

Laura, a "plant stake" is a super idea! Especially for some pieces that look so good in smaller numbers. I really like this!!

I Love this!!! I just love milkglass out in the yard where it can be appreciated!lol! It's so classy looking and I Love glass balls too, so this is a Super Winner in my books!!! Here is a milkglass totem I did, and am scrounging to do another!!!

Thanks, all of you. I'm thinking about selling some of my pieces if I find a market for them. We have a farmer's market here on Saturdays. I probably should try that...but we'll see.

I like it a lot. When I first started making totems I used too many pieces. I discovered that sometimes less is more and you prove that with your beautiful totem.

I love it! The white is very striking against the green plant. I love sticking items in my flower pots. It jazzes them up.
I use conduit pipe for the poles for totems cause it's cheaper than copper. You can paint the conduit pipe if you want color. I paint ceramic figurines, stick 'em on a pipe, fill with plaster & stick in my pots as well.

The more I look at this, I keep thinking what a great idea.
I think these Pot Totems would look great in a garden as well as a pot. Just to add small touches of color here and there. And it sure would be easier to just assemble two or three pieces of glass. I like the simplicity of this a lot. I'm usually wracking my brain and getting frustrated trying to find pieces that work together for the larger totems. Plus running out of room. I promised myself I'd only make a couple more at most. But your idea has me thinking along different lines. Thank you!
