My yard sale junk

This ball is kind of unusual-it's wooden and only has 2 finger holes?? Got the ball for .50 and the metal watering can for .50

wreath was $2

snowsled was $1.00.I need to put it up until Christmas.

I got this BIG vase at a church sale for .25,it had a piece broken from back but the opiece was still there,I used the silcone to glue it back.Good as new!

The face is a stepping stone,he was $2

She was .25

What an awesome haul you made off with. I love all of it. That wreath is really pretty and I am green with envy over that sled. I've wanted one myself for Christmas decorating. I saw one at GW but they wanted $30 for it, way too much for GW so I passed on it.

We are our worst critic,I've been selling these things for a long time...and I price them a little on the high side(what the market will bear)then I go down on the price (people love to get a discount) and if one of the pcs isn't the best then I say "on this pc I can go allot less cuz of this...whatevr the imperfection, sells every time and they see that it is not perfect and I not lying and we are both happy LOL. works for me Hugs, Carmen Hope this helps

Hi, Patrick and his wife sold antiques for a lot of years. He said she did all the collecting and arranging at the house and loved doing it. I think she has passed on and he keeps it because that's how she liked it, but knows that it all needs a good cleaning. He has people in to buy stuff, has had some large yard sales and knows the value of the stuff. You'd have to have a real passion for cleaning to keep it all clean. The area that looks like a shed is his front porch area (there are not raised porches on most houses here). When I first saw this house years ago, it looked very artful. As much as I like the patios and brick work, I think that the little tiled table is my favorite. There must be thousands of things there that are not in the pictures. If I'm over there again soon, I'll post more pics. I have his phone # if anyone ever wants to visit or buy anything. He doesn't have a computer. Linda

I think that was my post but I can't find it now...My friend and I have done a garden themed sale for 2 years now and had tags we made up on the computer with a cute, funny, tongue in cheek, informative bit of info for each one. Well, until the last crazy day when we realized we had more than we thought and not quite enough tags made up and maddly started hand-writing them! We also sent out great mailers and made sure everyone signed our guest book. We are planning our next one now! Actually I post under another name on the "other" T2T site and we have commented back and forth in the past...who could I be??!!

Be careful if you open that bottle or wash it. Sometimes fumes can remain or be reactivated by adding water. open the stopper so it is not going to give you whiff in your direction. Could have had something else in it also! Neat stuff. Halloween ladder-that's a 1st! Sounds cute! Will be handy to place often used tools. So your partner in crime bought all the rest $240. Must have had some great tools! Jan

Wow, you had some great finds. I have a metal wire pitcher like that one...Love it. It has a glass vase that goes in the middle of it. Love it.

I went to half a dozen ts today and spent a whole quarter... got a glass bowl and platter set to use in a totem.

I do have a sled like yours, have had it since I was about 4 yrs old and got it for Christmas from Santa. LOL

I think that wooden ball is wonderful, must be quite old. Bet it would shine up nicely with oil, then rubbed!

Wow! You got lots of good stuff too! LOVE the rooster windmill & the ball. And that was an excellent deal on the sled, especially for the shape it was in.

Sure Calmity-I love to show it off,still planting around it.And I don't have the pump going yet.It has an electric fende around it,my dogs kept playing in it.Fish didn't like that.I have added more rocks since then and the fairy.

Wow,think I love the sled the best! I'll never find one down here,lol! Love the progress on your pond, I haven't dug the hole for mine yet,heat index was 101 today,yuck!! Had to come home at 10:30 this morning,got too hot for yard sales!! You got some goodies, and don't ya love that silicone?

Love that toadstool and that face stepping stone is really awesome actually that whole vignette is. But I have one gripe.I want to see your doggies face!It looks awfully adorable what kind is it? What would we do without our JUNKYARD DOGS??????????

Love it all, I love the sled most of all. Mine was 35.00 so you got a bargain. Here's a pic of mine, it's there behind the wagon. I keep it out year round.

Saw a bowling ball on Ebay just like yours...

vintage wooden bowling ball
The owner thought that this ball was over 75 years old.
The ball has a circumference of 21."
The approximate weight of the ball is 12 pounds.
There are two drilled holes.
There are a couple of minor cracks in the wood and a couple of nicks. $9.99
