How do I post a gallery from Photobucket?

Thanks to posts on the subject, I've figured out how to post pictures and groups of pictures to my posts. I joined Photobucket. How do I attach a link to post a gallery from Photobucket? I tried once and Photobucket said that the guest user needs a password. I appreciate your help! You always teach me so much! Kirk

Kirk...I think you have to sign in when you go to photobucket..otherwise it thinks you are just someone who is visiting your page.

Then you should have no problem...but I'm a real dimwit when it comes to techie stuff...so all you can do is try...if I'm wrong...I warned ya! lol.

Kirk, I'm guessing but can't you just do a link to your Photobucket Page - open up the page then copy the HTML code that would be in your web browswer line and then paste it into your msg.

Blane, I have three accounts which I pay 25 bucks each per year for the upgraded version without ads and banners. I have 500 pictures in some of the albums then start another album. Not all of them are that full, but I never move them around and rarely delete anything, but that is always an option if you do not mind broken links. I realize that different folks enjoy different things and some may spend more that that total amount on one fancy meal eating out (I have in the past, at a fancy Inn of the Mountain Gods where they come out and set stuff on fire at your table), but get a lot more pleasure out of what I am doing now so do not even think about the little dab of expense. There are many ways that I can be frugal and more than make up the difference, if I want to. ":^) And happy gardening and Happy Easter to Y'all. I guess that you will get this "Easter Spell" over there in M-I- Crooked letter,- crooked letter. Bill P.

Debbie, If you have any problems, send me an email and let me know exactly what problem you are having. I'm sure I can help. Marion is right. To post on GardenWeb message boards you need to use some 'photo hosting' company, like Photobucket or Kodak. There are others that work, but you have to choose one of them. Photobucket is easy and free so it still seems like a good choice to me. You can't insert a link on the message board directly to your computer (and you wouldn't want to for security reasons). So you put your photos on a website like photobucket and then insert a link in your message to the picture on photobucket. It's very easy. Just look at all the people who have figured it out! Kate

you have to go to the settings on the photo bucket page and click on the setting that says account options (its on the top of the page)then go down to where it says edit my album settings then click on the box where it says my album is: private will be in the box just click on the box and change to public. Then remember to save the changes and that should work.
