That's very sweet! I'm planning to make one soon also. Just found a couple of fairies and a house for them this morning at a yard sale. Funny I never used to even notice little things at yard sales before but now I'm finding them frequently.

Love it! I have a few things, including a big mushroom, so the faries will look quite small beside it. I'm going to paint a door & window, so it will look like a house, then make a little path with tiny flowers to the door. Maybe tiny window boxes? Have fun with this.

Where did you get your panels of fencing? They are so cute. Great job! What are the different colored glass globes?

akup, the fencing panels are the side from an old laundry basket:-) It had an open weave design and I cut them out.

The glass globes I bought at the Dollar store and they have a string on lights inside each one. There are 10 of them along the edge of the flowerbed.

The houses in the village used to be the teeth on the huge shovels that you see on road construction. They will never blow over, LOL, they are very heavy! I have solar lights inside each one but you can't see them very well so I plan to take them out and use them somewhere else.

How very clever of you to use those shovel teeth. You did a great job on painting them. I love it! Fence - laundry basket; that's over the top creative!!!

LOL, kathy, no I don't sneak into construction sites but I would love to be let loose in a metal scrap yard and be told to take whatever I wanted, LOL

I love the slant of the teeth, perfect for a roof! They all have holes in them that would be perfect for a birdhouse. Maybe I should paint one to look like a construction site birdhouse.

My son works for a company that sells equipment parts for heavy machinery. Now and then they have broken "teeth" like the ones he gave me. How in the world they break those off is beyond me but I suppose when you see those huge walls of rock they dig into it happens, lucky for me:-)

I have other heavy "things" that look like cogs set in a circle that I'm still looking at and wondering what to do with them, LOL
