End of cantaloupe crop. Weather turning cold, vines dying. Five 5-inch (yeah, bigger than softballs), very unripe cantaloupes still on the vines. Compost? Or something better?
Lots of info on the web about to do with "unripe cantaloupes", but most of those ideas are for unripe cantaloupes you buy in the store. As in, firm, not so sweet, and at least somewhat orange inside. I mean *really* unripe.
Fruit salads? Smoothies? Cantaloupe bread? Ideas??
