What were those dangly things called again?

They were very popular here a couple of years ago, I even made a few myself. For the life of me, I can't remember what we called them! Ok we used flat glass gems/marbles, little square mirrors, monofilament, a wire fruit basket, and glue. We attached fishing swivels to hang the whole thing up. Anyone remember what we called these dangly things. And don't say "danglers". LOL Someone said they were suncatchers, and another said windchimes, but that doesn't sound right. Anyone got a pic?

I made several of those, but you all know that I can't post pictures.
However there is one in the FAQs I think.

Wire art - Also known as dangles, danglies, danglers, doodads, spirals, suncatchers, thingies, and wire widgets - can hung from a tree branch, a hook, perched in a flower pot, or stuck in the ground depending, of course, on your individual tastes.

so if you do not like those, invent a new one for us. lol. We want to make one of those too, we are getting bored and it is already April 2...hint hint.

T-posts are great but they are heavy. Only please don't pay a huge price (Lowe's $5.39) for them. I got them a few years ago for $3 and sometimes $2. Times have changed, of course, but if you look around, especially at a store or distributorship that supplies farmers, you will do better as they use a lot of them. Alternatively, if you have the nerve, Midnight Supply can help. Lots of T-posts go to waste at the end of excavation and building projects when they are effectively abandoned.

Brutuses, I'm pretty sure you a BATHTUB LINER, which is a common alternative to refinishing. :) It's like an acrylic skin that is custom-made to go over your existing tub. I haven't seen such a liner in person, so I don't know, it seems perhaps rather cheap and flimsy? I'd be a little concerned about issues with water getting under the liner. To go by reports, some folks have had better luck with epoxy DIY refinishing or having a company come in to refinish for $500 or so. I have seen some very nicely done refinishing jobs. For the liner, you have to have the liner guys come out to measure your tub for the liner etc, and at that point maybe refinishing is just as easy an alternative? Good luck, whichever you choose! I guess most all the people who have sold their houses have moved on from this forum. Usually the real estate agents have some real doozies to tell. My only story is that we lost power in our house for 24 hours two days before the house went up on the MLS. So just as we were frantically trying to finish up make the house picture perfect, we lost electricity, A/C (it was August) and WATER (we were on a well). We kept thinking that any moment the electricity would come back on - the power company was completely unhelpful with information. We slept in the basement that night on cushions from the outdoor furniture. An agent who had become aware of the listing called us directly to get a jump on seeing the house (height of the market). Talk about bad timing . . . I still feel bad about how I spoke to him.

You must have missed the one called wire basket suncatcher.
I think that's the one lara was asking about, altho there are a lot of wire doo-dads list too.

Lara - I'm glad you posted this question....love these things! I'm new here - and hadn't perused the FAQ's yet....a wealth of information...and I love all the dangly things...and already have so many of the materials that are called for....now to find the time to do them....

Thanks nonacook - for mentioning the FAQ's - and I think you're right - the way Lara describes what she wants to make - it sounds like the "wire basket suncatcher" one.
