Need some help on plastic garden decor

Hello,

Mostly a lurker here but have a problem. Do you remember form the 70's those white plastic ducks with the yellow baby ducks that you would stick in the garden? Well, the spikes that hold the babies in the ground have broken off and disappeared over the winter mysteriously in the garage! Where can I find a spike with a round flat surface on the top so I can glue it to the bottom side of the babies so they will stay upright in the ground or do you folks have any better ideas? I would probably look at the local stores in the sporting goods section and see what they have for tent stakes....

Why not pierce the plastic bottoms and use a bamboo spike?
OR
You could find a sheet of plexiglass or plywood to glue them on and cover the plexiglass with mulch.Add a Rock to the decor to keep the sheet and duck family from blowing in the wind.

first do get 2 couches. do not get sectional or a loveseat. first we have to figure your color preferences. black is a neutral, to an extent it tends to be really in your face. and it rarely is going to look cool. so lets see a couple new things i have seen. let me know what you think and what not, i will adjust.

I think you need to first of all consider how much you want to spend and are there any key elements or items that are a must. Also most important what is the look you want to achieve. Think how formal. Think colors. Think what is the purpose of the room and furniture. Shades of grey blue to blue to even turquoise woudl be wonderful. Pick a metal color accent ie gold, silver or bronze (probably not bronze in your case). That couch really was odd - it clearly does not fit the formality of your look. I think giving you ideas is useless if you haven't set up your parameters ie money.

Just Google "Wall Stickers for Boy's Nursery" A million photos will come up. Consider the decals as a teaching moment for the boy. He could be able to identify animals or recognize his name.

I would remove the oversized green chair....only one person would sit in at at one time..so remove it and look for another second hand chair to add to the room around the same size as your gold chair With wood arms...or just keep the sofa and gold chair. I would get a coffee table look on facebook marketplace in your area..it is amazing the great things you can find...get coffee table first....

A small plain shelf bracket might work. Wander around in your hardware store, kind of a fun thing to do anyway!

Yep...I agree with smick...plastic tents pegs should work just fine! Easy to find at Walmart and pretty cheap too! (No pun intended!)

Thanks all of you! I found some metal garden stakes at Home Depot and just glued the pieces together and holding with clamps and will wait until tomorrow afternoon to see if it worked.
