Yes, indeed they do, Florence. The WW I.C. sandwiches are a bit pricey, but very tasty. I'm going slow on keeping a lot of goodies around, even ones that are low in points. I know that I tend to be tempted to have more than I should once I start in, so I'm taking it easy right now on placing those temptations in my way. (Besides, *other* members of the family would devour them in a heartbeat. I need time to re-train them, too, LOL!) Thanks for your kind words, Athena. You're right. I need a plan I can stick with for life and I know that WW is that plan. I have to stick with logging my foods, too, this time. That's a very important part of it all that keeps one from sliding back down the slippery slope of weight re-gain. Exercise is tough in winter, all right. I find it painful to walk on slippery surfaces with my bad knees - I'm always scared of going down. I'm thinking of getting those gripper treads that you slip over your shoes or boots. My sister and her walking partner swear by them.

Re fencing: If I were single.... I have a large lot, but the only areas that get enough sun are the front yard and one of the side yards. The side yard with the sun is the side that has the view. My wife correctly considers fences an eyesore. I had an area near the far reaches of the yard that I used for a cutting garden. I attached clothes line to posts and hung deer netting with shower curtain hooks. That worked but over time the area got too shady. I had over 100 bushes in my front yard. Minis in the front, hybrid teas and then grandifloras. Rugosas planted under the trees. As the trees grew, mine and the neighbors there isn't enough sun for more than 20. The two survivors other than the climbers are ; RDV and Portand from Glendora. I'm planting the three new hybrid teas next to them and spraying them all with deer repellant.

Im 27 and a video game environment artist. Been working in NC for about 9 years. Originally from S. CA, moved to Idaho as a teen. Was going to community college dual enrollment in highschool when I somehow magically ended up with a video game internship that turned into 9 years of full time employment. So never got any degree besides a highschool diploma. I have to admit I am very blessed to be in a situation where I can grow vegetables and peppers for fun. I've done outdoor soil gardening since I was little with my stepdad, but now I suddely have my own family and have this desire to try my hand at some totally new techniques. I am attempting some DWC habaneros right now (thread in the pepper forum). Next year I really want to try an ourdoor Aeroponics setup, since I just realized the RO booster pump I have is the PERFECT pump for high pressure nozzle spray :D Love finding out I already have equipment to try something!!
