Guess what I found today ? Give up ?

Remember the plate flowers I was making ? Remember the flower centers that I found ?{{gwi:135163}}

Well ----- I went back to the outlet store today and found out that he has a whole pallette full of them !!!! I bought ....( 70 ) today .........ssshhhh ..( don't tell my DH - they're hidden in my van ) This might be a once in a lifetime buy . I'm making bunches for my craft fair and for sale. Since I found out about the plate flowers here - I'd love to share my "centers" with you ! Anyone that wants to buy some - I'll ship them to you . They come in boxes of 6 ... These colors ....

They are $1.00 each. They're also light to ship . If you want 6 or 60 - I can get them ! E Mail me with your Address & zip - I'll figure out postage and let you know the total and ship them out when I get your check . I'm so glad everyone here can have a chance to share in my "secret" find !!!

Oh, Kathy! Aren't they wonderful? Not wonder you're so excited. Others will be too. I would love to order some, but I've already got a closet full of things I'm hiding from MY DH! LOL

Brad, why not bring it in if you don't have any others? Otherwise, it will more than likely get eaten by a predator. I've also brought in 2 larger cats this year that had wasp larva inside of them! Never experienced that before. It has been a busy monarch year up here so whoever is in the return path of the Minnesota monarchs should get some eggs/cats soon.

Yep, word is spreading. I contacted corporate headquaters after I got tired of getting the run around here in State College. Since they have got in nice 15 gallon trachys, 7 gallon Trachys, Needles and Silver Med fans. Waiting on a big butia now...LOL.

Karen, When you click on this link. Click on picture gallery. Shows many pages of sans. One was my table in front of the window. Another was 'woodnative' office window picture of his sans. When click on, it takes you to this site. Other pictures on there as well. I saw tall sans cut and loaded in a cardboard box. Maybe one inch of root on each stock. Clicked on the picture and was on a wholeseller from Taiwan. Another shows rolls of dwarf hahnii sans in a green house also another Taiwan wholeseller. Can't miss.

The security tags are on more and more things, understandably. There's different types that are activated and deactivated in different ways. Ironically, for a while the pad that would deactivate one type would activate another type. I assume they've straightened that out a bit by now. I've found them inside of packages, often on the instruction booklets in things like power tools or electrical items. I hadn't heard that they're in the "luxury meats" now but I'm not surprised. Target has gone the other way. Instead of small, unnoticeable tags, they're using these big honking 2" diameter disks about an inch thick banded on the stuff with a rather heavy cord. I'm surprised batteries aren't being tagged with them yet. At $13-$15 for a package of batteries it probably won't be long before they have them or start going into security fixtures like razor blades are now. Even deodorants are being put in security fixtures in CVS and some Walgreens I've noticed. I guess broke people still want to look and smell good.

Are they one of each color in the box or does the box come with all the same color?? Wow!! You lucky girl! Would love to have some but I'm on a strict no spending budget right now. If things get better I may have you ship me some.

It's one of each in a box. I know the feeling .... I'm spending a bunch on these flowers. Wait'll DH finds out ! I heard it's easier to apologize than ask permission ...... heheheh

Toomuch, you have really found a bargain! I saw some similar ones at Joanne's--sure allot more than $1.00 each. I just know your dish flowers are going to sell really good. Luvs

I got my box of 6 from Kathy today, and I can't believe how neat they are. I am so excited at being able to get these, haven't seen anything like them here in stores. Even with shipping, they are a bargain. IMO, these are just the perfect centers for plate flowers. I have to hit GW now and find some suitable plates. Then the challenge of putting them together, LOL.

I would LOVE some of the plates that you found! If you still have some or can get them, I'd like at least 15. I looked at our local dollar tree, etc., but couldn't find any. I'll be emailing you!
