Technically, you shouldn't be watering from the top with a SWC. I have one SWC this year and lately I have to fill the 1.5 gal. reservoir daily. The tomato plant is feeding great from the cup of fertilizer I spread around the perimeter of the container before I covered it. I'm not sure how much fertilizer would be required for a 37 gal SWC, but whatever it is, it should do the trick. There are many threads on the subject. I'm having a lot of fun with my lone SWC. I'm growing a Rutgers in it, and the plant is going wild, looks teriffic, and is setting lots of tomatoes. bt.........seems like you could almost still squeeze in a 3 month growing season in Georgia. I would definitely try it. What do you have to lose.

"Professionally" often means "impersonally." Doing things yourself often allows you to put your stamp of personality on them. Also, every landscaping installation has a lifespan, and if this one has reached its end or beyond that, it may have been quite nicely done at an earlier stage - or for the needs of the earlier owner. Nope I think your catfish and Knife fish are quite enough for a 120, a 15 inch long fish in a 29! that sounds packed, and with the catfish aided too in the 120, remember these fish are going to grow larger, I think you'd be better of trying to grow lush exotic plants for your knife to hide amongst and your catfish to uproot or lie on then trying to add more fish.

I finally had a chance to take a picture today while battening down the hatches to prepare for The Big Rain arriving tomorrow. I've chosen two different plastic pots, both of which fit into the ceramic pot on the far left. I'm leaning towards the plastic pot on the far right - it's just slightly larger than the other one, and a better fit for the root ball. By the way, that's my tiny Nagami Kumquat (true dwarf) in the upper left corner. Since we bought it about 12 years ago, it's been in a very large pot, then a smaller (better size) pot, and finally planted in the ground more than a year ago. It's still small but loaded with fruit. I'm hoping it will grow taller this year.

Sorry folks these things are way too easy for me and I love clowning around. Janie, the lady that's put up with my shenanigans for a little over 30 years, often comes into the garage to see what I'm laughing at. She just stands there shaking her head.
Yes it is fun to see these characters morph from bowling balls to silly people.

But I am about out of junk and that will slow me down for awhile -----Maybe!
