Are deer or groundhog attracted to blueberry foliage?

We're inundated with deer, rabbits and groundhogs and other critters that will eat anything including marigolds and tiger lilies. Will they eat young blueberry bushes?

I just planted some additional blueberry bushes and interested if others have experienced any of the above critters being attracted to the blueberry foliage. I know the fruit is another matter, but I want the plant itself to survive through the winter to the next season.

I had three blueberry bushes I planted last year that I did fence and surround with staked chicken 3 foot wire and did get several cups of berries off of them. Most of the bushes I've seen are not protected. It is an expense to fence these off too, that I'd just as soon avoid if it is unnecessary. Any thoughts.
