stonefruit scion wood swap

I have bavay green gage, green gage, golden transparent, and santa rosa plums, and fantasaia and nectacrest nectarines. Am looking for readers who would like to trade budwood for other varieties of plum and nectarine budwood.

If interested in trading budwood in September (which I think is the best time to try chip budding, please post here the varieties you have available to trade so we can get in touch with each other. Thanks.

lycheeluva, I would like to try those gages on my Italian plum. Might even help a bit with fruit set. I have many patented and young varieties that limits my selection for scion wood. The plum trees I have for scion wood are; Superior, Toka, Stanley, Italian, Santa rosa. The young plum trees for scion wood next or maybe late season; Shiro, Alderman, Improved Duarte, Spring satin plumcot, Methley.

Yeah, Kuffel Creek originally turned me on to the warm climate varieties. I was planning to order from them at some point, and then I was at the local nursery and saw an inexpensive bareroot 5-in-1 with all warm climate varieties and I impulse bought it. Already had the fuji here, and I just recently grafted on the pink, gordon & sekai ichi. I figure that's a good mix to start for my backyard forest garden. I can't fill the whole place up with apples... got to leave space for avocado, citrus, stone fruits, loquats, grapes & persimmons.

Peach leaf curl isn't transmitted via scionwood. But it certainly could affect a new graft so would need spraying like any peach/nectarine. Viruses are the main concern. Plum pox virus is one example. It is widely present in Europe. So importing scion wood from another region could bring a virus with it. I've got viruses in my stone fruit. In fact a tree planted this year seems infected. So far it hasn't affected the fruit that I can tell but I am concerned and taking out some trees. I've never exchanged scionwood with anyone. So I'm not sure where it came from. Could be I was sold infected trees.

I have Kirkes Blue, Bruce, Persian Green, and Shiro plums. I really want a few cuttings from your Golden Transparent Gage more than anything else.
