Could this be a European Plum?

I have a plum tree that the previous owner of my property said was a European plum. It's smallish, greenish yellow, OK flavor. It's ripening now in Northern California.

As the plums aren't that tasty, I've started to graft it over to various gages.

In trying to identify what variety of plum it is, I'm having a hard time finding any European plum that is supposed to ripen this early. Many Japanese plums, on the other hand, ripen about this time, for example, Shiro, which is a yellow plum.

I'm very much like to confirm that this is indeed a European plum, as apparently the thriving gage grafts I have already made to it will fail if the tree is a Japanese variety, in which case I'd like to regraft to Japanese varieties sooner rather than later.

Some more information: this plum blooms at the same time as the pluot next to it, but will not pollinize the pluot. The plum is self-fertile. It has a tall, upright growth habit.

Thanks for any ideas on confirming what type of plum this is!
