Putting up a cedar trellis question

Richard Dollard

Hello,

I bought 2 cedar trellis' at Lowes yesterday. The bottom stakes are not long enough to put in the ground. I was thinking of either gas pipe with holes drilled through both the pipe and bottom pieces of the trellis and anchoring the 2 together with long nuts & bolts or just use wood stakes and drive them into the ground and then just screw the trellis onto the stakes. Do you all have any other options? Thanks, Richie
